Jan. 10 (Sunday), 7:10AM. Rude Anthony “Tonton” Melodia, 29, municipal councilor, son of a former mayor, Purok 3, Brgy. Poblacion, Sta. Catalina. The victim was washing his car when the killers arrived on motorcycles and shot him dead.
Jan. 26, 1PM. Ferdinand “Franzel” Escalante, 35, Brgy. Apolong, Valencia. The victim’s body was found inside her car parked along the road in Bacong. The head was wrapped in plastic. Franzel was a known organizer of LGBT pageants.
Jan. 29, 2021, 3PM. Junjun “Choy” (or “Butsoy”) Moria Ardoza, 47, and Dindo Regalado Mascardo, Brgy. Poblacion 2, Bais City. The two men were shot dead at the cockpit in Tanjay Square Garden, Tanjay City. A third person was hit in the jaw and wounded during the attack.
